PermanentLocation: Edmonton ABSalary: $50-55K + commission, vacation and benefitsDescriptionOur client is looking for a Bilingual (English/French) Business Development Representative to join their team.

ResponsibilitiesMaking outbound calls to new business prospects and existing clients to serve their needs and grow our client base.
Performing basic research to learn more about our clients and potential clients.
Generating Sales Orders and Sales Quotations as needed.
Being capable of handling inbound calls if extra support is required in the customer service department.
Tracking and reporting your business development activities to the Business Development Manager on a weekly basis.
Collaborating on the development of outreach campaigns.
Communicating promotions and other marketing activities to our partners.
Reaching specified sales and activity targets as set out by the Business Development Manager.
QualificationsBilingual - ability to speak fluently in English and FrenchStrong sales acumen.
Willingness and ability to make warm and cold calls to generate business.
Proactively pursues opportunities.
Is effective in an in-person environment, like a tradeshow or store visit.
Ability to build solid business relationships.
Takes on responsibility and holds yourself responsible for the execution of those responsibilities.
Have a drivers license and vehicle and are willing to travel occasionally for tradeshows and other special events.
