The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for temporary Parking Attendants who will be vital to executing the events coming through the venue, including KDays taking place July 19 – 28, 2024.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Directing motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or light batons as necessary
  • Controlling traffic flow while ensuring the safety of guests, vehicles, and the parking area
  • Assisting guests with the automated parking gate system
  • Lifting, positioning, and removing barricades and signs to open or close parking areas
  • Monitoring surroundings to detect potential safety hazards
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work area

The successful candidate will have:

  • The ability to walk and/ or stand for long periods of time while work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays daytime, evening & weekends
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations appropriately
  • The ability to work with the public and clients.
