JOB PURPOSE:
The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for ensuring materials and components meet work instructions and specifications.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Inspect and monitor quality in accordance with company and customer requirements
  • Perform accurate inspection using precision tools
  • Create comprehensive dimensional reports
  • Document and report inspection results
  • Interpret customer drawings and technical information
  • Assess part compliance and initiate Non-Conformance Reports
  • Move components safely, including using lifting devices
  • Assist with Quality Surveillance of suppliers if needed

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical Diploma in Quality or relevant field
  • 0-2 years of quality control experience
  • Proficiency in interpreting manufacturing drawings
  • Knowledge of quality programs such as ASME Code and ISO 9001
  • Experience with measuring tools and calibration
  • Understanding of NDE techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to solve technical problems

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $41,812 and $59,732, which may vary based on factors like location and candidate qualifications. The total compensation package may include additional benefits.
