  • Seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to handle electrical engineering tasks, automation design, programming, and overall support and enhancements of electromechanical components and systems for strapping machinery and solutions.
  • Provide engineering assistance for strapping machinery manufacturing by developing custom workflows, electrical solutions, and Bill of Materials (BoM) to meet customer needs.
  • Convert specifications into practical controls design, develop and maintain electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using provided 3D modeling or 2D CAD software.
  • A>Skillfully craft and enhance new PLC and HMI programs, collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineering, and integrate automation components for dependable machine operation that meets design standards.
  • Conduct testing, monitor field performance, troubleshoot, and enhance machine performance.
  • Deliver project outcomes on time and within cost targets.
  • Utilize unique machine-strap system interface aspects to optimize overall strapping system performance.
  • Provide support to field service personnel, offer expert troubleshooting, and assist in machine assembly techniques improvement.
  • Work closely with internal and customer teams to define specifications for equipment marketed by EAM-Mosca.

This role may involve some supervisory responsibilities overseeing a team of engineers and automation specialists.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in providing electrical engineering solutions for electromechanical equipment and systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in e-plan for electrical schematics; exposure to mechanical drawings in PTC Creo Parametric is beneficial.
  • Experience with project management, new item creation, project implementation, and change management in a business ERP environment.
  • Ability to translate preliminary concepts into effective final designs to ensure the high performance and cost-effectiveness of EAM-Mosca systems.
