Executive Director, International Recruitment and Market Development

Northern College is seeking an Executive Director, International Recruitment and Market Development in our International Recruitment and Market Development department. The successful candidate will be an accomplished leader with strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills as well as entrepreneurial and innovative skills with the proven commitment to work effectively with cultural diversity issues. The successful candidate will also posses superior communication and presentation skills; inter-personal, mediation and negotiation skill; and a proven ability to facilitate consensus building among stakeholders/key group in international locations.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing:
- Responsible for supporting the strategic initiatives in showcasing and raising Northern's profile as the provider of quality educational programs in worldwide markets and responsible for leadership in strategic international initiatives to maintain existing markets and open new markets to generate new revenue for continued financial growth on behalf of Northern in support of its academic vision and for high quality services to international students;
- Plan, develop and implement the operational plan for Northern's International department; and
- Monitor all human and financial resources within the department and will gather and analyze international market intelligence and make recommendations on a wide range of operational issues;

EducationWhat you will need to be considered:
- Masters Degree in Administration, Business, Communications, Education, Finance, International Affairs, Law, Leadership, Management, Marketing, Political Science, or another related field of study;
- Minimum 11 years' experience or equivalent level of education and experience in a leadership capacity involving significant complexity and scope within an academic or entrepreneurial enterprise; experience as a leader in private or public sector College with in-depth understanding of postsecondary education, with an international and entrepreneurial outlook;
- Extensive experience in the world market with demonstrated strategies to recruit international students;
- Proven marketing and promotion experience in international markets;
- Proven leadership and administrative responsibility to direct a team, foster staff motivation and manage employee performance to implement operational plans; and
- Strong leadership and credibility with the capacity to lead the geographic teams to move corporate initiatives forward and achieve desired results.
