  • What Is the Opportunity?
  • What Will You Do?
  • Provides ongoing support to Billing Operations management in the execution of tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Creates and facilitates internal and external training on billing processes.
  • Troubleshoots new defects and creates a change management and communication plan and potentially a training plan for each.
  • Responsible for delivering on controls, with the support of backups in the Billing leadership team.
  • Provides technical guidance to other staff as required, such as documentation and communication, project coordination with adherence to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Leads and/or participates in billing related business projects including analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, communication and training.
  • Develops, implements and maintains billing related business intelligence analytics and relating reporting, including performance metrics reporting, premium reporting and processing statistics.
  • Analyzes billing related workflows and assists in the development of improved workflows and processes, including documentation and training. Supports the effective management of workflow and automated workflow assignment processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • College diploma in a business related field, accounting and finance concentration an asset.
  • Three or more years of experience working in finance, accounting or billing operations function preferred.
  • Knowledge of business practices and processes in insurance/financial industry. Knowledge of analysis, testing, and documentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. Confidence in public speaking, facilitating training and presentations.
  • Analytical ability, ability to learn, results oriented, organization and planning, policy and procedures, team player, verbal communications, written communications and service oriented.
What is a Must Have?

  • Two years of experience working in finance, accounting or billing operations function.
