We are currently looking for a
MANAGER - SUSTAINABILITY to join our team

What you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Vice President Tax & Sustainability, you will be an active part of developing, implementing, and overseeing our ESG strategies, shaping our sustainability agenda, managing data and reporting, and engaging stakeholders.

This role is crucial for driving our commitment to sustainability, responsible corporate practices, and long-term value creation.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy alignment with Bitfarms's mission, vision and values.
  • Assist to identify and prioritize key sustainability focus areas, such as environmental, social, economic, governance and engagement.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives into various departments and business processes.
  • Oversee sustainability data collection, validation, and analysis for accuracy and reliability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
  • Monitor and track sustainability performance metrics and key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actions.
  • Assess sustainability risks and opportunities that could impact the company's reputation, operations, and financial performance, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Support the development and delivery of sustainability training for employees to foster a culture of sustainability and people engagement.
  • All other related tasks.

Here's the profile we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., sustainability, environmental science, engineering) and a keen interest in industry-specific ESG challenges and opportunities.
  • 25 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related roles with an indepth knowledge of ESG frameworks, reporting standards and carbon footprint assessment
  • Strong experience with project management and with strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities. Commitment to ethical business practices and sustainability principles.
