Position Summary


The Maintenance Programs Analyst will develop and optimize aircraft scheduled maintenance requirements for De Havilland Dash 8 and Water Bomber aircraft family.


  • Justify maintenance tasks and intervals using inservice maintenance, cost, and reliability data
  • Collect and analyze scheduled maintenance records, analyze PIREP/MAREP information and conduct indepth analyses of inservice data to optimize the scheduled maintenance programs
  • Conduct technical evaluations for Aircraft Operators and recommend improvements to improve aircraft availability and reduce operating costs
  • Define and implement preventative & corrective actions in response to aircraft inservice findings in accordance with established MSG3 and Maintenance Review Board (MRB) practices
  • Participate in regular customer and regulatory facing events in support of the continuous improvement and development of aircraft scheduled maintenance requirements and costreduction activities
  • Prepare and present technical presentations in support of various customer/regulatory facing events
  • Support internal and external customer requests for deliverables such as analyses, impact and cost estimates and program proposals
  • Occasional travel may be required for this position
  • Present MSG3 Analyses and technical presentations pertaining to scheduled maintenance to present and industry/Maintenance Steering Committee meetings
  • Work closely with aviation authorities to obtain approval of scheduled maintenance
  • Work in collaboration with De Havilland Engineering and Vendors to establish effective maintenance requirements and intervals
Education & Experience

  • Engineering Degree (Aerospace or Mechanical) or AME License holder
  • 10+ Years working experience in aerospace/mechanical field
  • Previous MSG3 experience is considered an asset

Skills:

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate strong grasp of MSG3 Principals inline with established guidelines
  • Strong communicator, with good interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong English language skill (written and verbal) are required for this position
  • Ability to deal effectively with Customers, and aviation authorities and have Customer oriented mindset and a cando attitude
  • You have good presentation skills, and are at ease when presenting to large audiences
  • You understand MSG3 and the Maintenance Review Board and ISC process
  • You can manage and support multiple projects at any one time
