What You'll Do - The Role (Responsibilities)

  • Responsible to quote all "Additional Work" deficiencies from technician's work orders (excludes major repairs where on site visits are required. Detailed communications will be required to acquire the necessary information from technicians to source parts and to determine labor needs.
  • The Fuel Service Advisor is responsible for Parts ID. A technical aptitude and experience is needed. Procurement of parts will be a shared responsibility of the service advisor and the parts department.
  • Follow up on all quotations to gain customer approval to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Work with technicians on unit down service calls to properly inform customer of situation including costs and time frame offering rental equipment. Followup with customer until technicians return to site for repairs keeping them informed of status of parts, timeframe and costs.
  • Respond to customers fuel delivery inquiries. Ensure customer have appropriate documentation and if needed, arrange to have any necessary inspections performed. Coordinate with fuel retailer to ensure customer's receive fuel in a timely manner.
  • Work with the contract sales team to offer fuel system inspections to new and renewing contracts.
  • You are part of a team striving to "Provide the Best Customer Service in the Industry". Work with the Customer Service and Product Support Managers to establish policies, practices and systems to achieve this strategic objective.
  • Participate in weekly Department meeting to discuss opportunities and issues
  • Take a proactive approach in resolving customer complaints and disputes.
  • Assist the Company in developing stronger relationships with our customers and suppliers.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time consistent with the position of Service Sales Account Advisor and the job description and duties set out herein.

What You Need (Requirements)

  • Diploma from technical college or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and sales skills, with ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
  • Excellent computer skills working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government in Ontario, be available for work.
  • Present a professional image to the Company's customers and suppliers maintaining the highest ethical standard of conduct.

Working Conditions

  • Manual dexterity is required to use a desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
