Material Handler/Warehouse Worker Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre

Shift:
Sunday-Thursday, 5pm-1:30am (Part time hours within this schedule)

Location:80 Haggart Avenue, Winnipeg MB

Rate of pay:
$19.42/hour *may also be eligible for an additional shift premium

Job Summary


As directed by the supervisor, this position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customers and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures.


Specific Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for accurate unit pick and case pick by Manual RF picking
  • Responsible for Goods In procedure to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Perform order audits for quality assurance
  • Ensure product orders are reviewed and error corrections are completed
  • Perform all tasks within the scope of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures related to the job
  • Other duties as directed by the Supervisor(s)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to lift/move up to 22 pounds independently and greater weights in a teamlift environment
  • Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
  • Experience in a distribution centre /warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Basic math and English reading skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
  • Strong focus on Customer Service and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Must be familiar with, and able to work with, computers and automation
  • Reliable and punctual (and willing to work various shifts)
