As a Material Handler, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivers parts to designated areas throughout the facility
  • Handle Materials within the shop as required
  • Maintains equipment logs and preuse inspections
  • Work well as a team member
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment
  • Painting brackets
  • Other general duties as assigned
  • Part cleaning and Quality Assurance
  • Kitting: In accordance with Drawings
  • Bandsaw operation

  • Basic computer skills
  • Licensed forklift operator would be an asset or training required
  • Must be able to maintain quality, safety and production standards
  • Must be a reliable and dependable worker
  • Must be willing to learn and able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written in the English language
  • Reliable transportation, as HERD is not accessible via public transportation routes.

We have two shifts available:

Days:
Monday to Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm

Nights:
Sunday to Friday 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
