The Strategic Partnership Division

The Strategic Partnership Division is responsible for managing all jobs related to commercial or strategic partnerships. The main focus will be on enhancing existing partnerships, establishing new ones, and growing large-scale commercial partnerships.

This division is vertically integrated, allocating resources to ensure projects are completed within budget and a set timeframe.

It relies on delivering a high level of service by collaborating closely with quality assurance and operations to support our office in meeting commitments to partners, stakeholders, and customers.

Strategic Partnerships are key in expanding business opportunities, implementing plans to enhance the current Commercial business at Paul Davis Ottawa.

Business Development
  • Enhance business presence in the Commercial sector, focusing on building strategic relationships with brokers and facility managers.
  • Oversee ongoing commercial projects for quality and communicate with decision-makers as required.
  • Manage commercial governance, bidding, contracts, and project delivery.
  • Prioritize and handle multiple complex tasks in line with corporate procedures.
  • Summarize and present information to executive management and operational staff.
  • Identify and evaluate potential commercial risks associated with proposals, ongoing projects, and supplier agreements.
  • Provide commercial support in contract administration, documentation preparation, and claims resolution.
Project Management
  • Visit project sites to document loss or damage and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Assign work orders to vendors, subcontractors, and onsite staff.
  • Obtain and share sub-trade quotes and documentation for cost estimation and claims support.
  • Conduct site meetings to discuss claims and progress with all involved parties.
  • Ensure all legal requirements are met before proceeding with projects.
  • Maintain real-time updates on Job Management Systems for transparency.
  • Manage deposits and Accounts Receivable as necessary.
  • Assist in obtaining Completion Certificates and handle urgent requests promptly.
  • Aim for minimum profit margins as per company standards on each project.
  • Utilize estimating software for loss assessment and ensure quality control on all projects.
  • Meet Cost Control and scheduling objectives for each project.
  • Handle project changes efficiently and communicate updates effectively.
  • Confirm budgets, purchase orders, and work orders before project kickoff.
  • Provide support during business emergencies when required.
