As a lecturer in special education and/or childhood education at LCI Education, you will plan and deliver dynamic and structured teaching sessions. You will design assessments according to competency-based approach, administer and correct them, while ensuring individual student follow-up to promote their success.

Status : Contract – Fall session 2024

Location: Lasalle College, Montreal (Quebec) and online

  • Plan class sessions;
  • Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
  • Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach;
  • Administer and correct assessments;
  • Monitor each student and encourage success;
  • Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course;
  • All other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Education or be enrolled in this program in order to obtain a tolerance of commitment to teach;
  • Hold a university degree with an option or concentration in the relevant discipline;
  • Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years;
  • Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least five (5) years.
