The Change Lead will facilitate the completion of change management assessments, tools, and plans to support organizational transformation and act as a key contributor in embedding and sustaining an enterprise change framework at IMCO.


As a Member of Our Team, You Will:

  • Provide change management leadership, guidance, advice and decision-making support to sponsors, program and project leads, and business leads related to change management planning and activities that support people, process, and technology initiatives.
  • Consult with stakeholders to assess business readiness needs, and aid in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating change initiative execution.
  • Clearly communicate difficult concepts, converting information into compelling business context in both oral and written form.
  • Function as a key contributor and partner with the Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management team, Project Delivery team, and Human Resources team to develop and implement Change Management methodologies, including but not limited to stakeholder action plans, change impact assessments, communications, and training needs assessments.
  • Build change leadership as a leadership capability in conjunction with the Human Resources team, including coaching and supporting sponsors, program stakeholders and business leads in their change roles.
  • Lead the facilitation of change impact assessments and stakeholder engagement planning to identify risks and work in partnership with the Human Resources team, business sponsors and the Project Delivery team, to analyze risk mitigation tactics and implement specific tactics to help address employee resistance to change.
  • Create personabased communication plans to depict the user journey when presenting change management plans, strategies and updates.
  • Develop targeted and actionable change management plans (i.e., communication plan, training plan, coaching plan, sponsorship roadmap, resistance mitigation plan, etc.) in partnership with Human Resources and the Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management teams.
  • Participate in supporting communication and training efforts for corporate or culturebased change initiatives.
  • Evaluate and report on program change readiness and performance, measuring the success of change components against anticipated results and adoption metrics.
  • Actively monitor and measure change sustainment and diagnose potential problem areas related to adopting the desired changes.
  • Manage and facilitate activities as required to effectively implement and sustain change.
What do you need to succeed?

  • Postsecondary education specializing in Change Management, Business Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Behaviour, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation, leading change management components of large change projects, with at least 2 years in the asset management industry.
  • Change Management Professional certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience in building, formulating, delivering, and executing change management plans.
  • Experience in training needs analysis and developing and facilitating training content to support a project's learning needs.
  • Experience designing and developing internal communication tactics and tools supporting change management implementation is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of change management principles, practices, and methodologies, with the ability to recommend and create change management tools and templates.
  • Strong experience integrating and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, experience effectively leading, influencing and motivating a team of nondirect reporting or crossfunctional resources.
  • Strong ability to establish, build and maintain collaborative relationships with various levels of stakeholders to meet corporate objectives.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data (i.e., survey results, datasets) to gain insights into thematic change trends.
