Customer Support Representative Tech Start-up

We are looking for a Customer Support Representative with proven experience and a passion for providing customers with solutions, to join our Support Team and help spearhead our growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the satisfaction of customers while handling difficult or unusual situations.
- Participates in the development, training, and other departmental meetings and adheres to corporate policies that concern the customer service department.
- Assist the team with various tasks both technical (with training) and support efficiency
- Use discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Escalate issues following established processes to address client's requirements
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward clients
- Work with management on projects and campaigns
- General office organization
- Required additional duties as assigned.
- Reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills
- Some MS Office suite experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous customer service experience (retail, fast food, call center, corporate office, etc.)
- Organized and able to multitask
- Must be patient, empathetic, and friendly
- Ability to stay calm and maintain composure when customers are stressed or upset

Education
Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for satisfactory job performance.
Can include a combination of high school graduate or equivalent and:
- One year of experience performing customer support activities
- Working knowledge of contact with the public and telephone; modern office procedures and methods.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problemsolving and listening skills.
- Must exhibit the ability to work with the public under stressful circumstances in a fair, calm, and understanding manner and obtain positive results.

$16.00-$19.00 per hour
