Real Estate Office Assistant

Calgary, Alberta, Canada Chamberlain Real Estate Group Full time

Fast-growing real estate team with Real Broker is seeking an organized office assistant to assist our backstage team, agents and clients with the selling of their homes and office tasks.

In addition to performing many administrative tasks, this role does require someone who has an active lifestyle, is organized, has a positive outlook on life, has a great sense of direction and knowledge to get around Calgary and has a current driver's license and own your car (and something more than your mamma's car).

The perfect hire for this role is someone detailed and outgoing, with a heart to help others.

Since time can be of the essence in Calgary's fast-paced real estate industry, persistence, pro-activeness, and reactive skills will be required.

We need someone who is attentive to details, self-sufficient/self-directed, able to make independent decisions when required, and has good communication skills to talk to others when needed.

Our real estate company operates with proven, repeatable systems and practices honesty with our clients every step of the way.

We have an atmosphere much like you would find at WestJet or Apple, emphasizing a strong work ethic and improving our knowledge.

Each day we want to be better. We work hard and we play hard. We make no excuses. We define what can be done and make it happen.

Creating daily balance is also something we strive for.

Almost our entire team has young families that are our #1 priority, and we want to keep our marriages and relationships strong while we create a life others will call lucky We can better achieve this balance through thorough training and streamlined systems, which creates a more efficient process, freeing us up (and potentially you) to make more money and ultimately do what is most important outside of work.

As the company's Co-Founder writing this ad, I can attest that the description of this position is exactly what we are looking for, and we won't settle for less.

We hire, train and fire by our core values; if you are a good fit, we will know by the end of this process.

This is important We have all worked our butts off to get to this point, and we want to work with people who are like us.

We have a good time, have great attitudes, are respectful, and want to be a part of something amazing that is bigger than us individually.

We expect the best.

  • Responsible for managing the front desk and answering the front door
  • Responsible for ordering office and cleaning supplies
  • Light office cleaning (in between when our main cleaner comes) to ensure cleanliness
  • Putting together buyer and seller packages
  • Ordering and putting together buyer possession gifts for clients
  • Helping with events we hold for our clients with prep and execution of the event
  • Scheduling our Monthly Agent Meetings and Quarterly Team Meetings
  • Helping to lead our morning team huddles three times a week
  • Adding important dates and sending out calendar invites

Attributes & Skills Required

  • Be able to connect and effectively communicate with clients and team
  • Be adept at learning and adapting to new technologies and processes
  • Be detailoriented, tracking every detail
  • Always seek to improve efficiency
  • Have a good working car and a great driving record
  • Have a great sense of direction and can sort and decide what tasks are more important or urgent than others.
  • Understand the importance of good communication for the benefit of the team
  • Focus on solutions, maintaining a positive mindset
  • Continuously seek knowledge to improve
  • Act with urgency and frequency
  • Practice 100% accountability

  • Be able to adjust daily to achieve balance in life
  • Be passionate about The Chamberlain Group, their clients, and the community
  • Believe in people and their dreams

Travel

While travel outside of Canada or Alberta is not required for this position, there is some driving within Calgary and the surrounding area.

With this in mind, a vehicle is required (and something more than your mamma's car). ;)

There is no relocation package for the position.

**Position to be filled immediately.
