Responsibilities:

  • Perform various horticultural tasks such as planting, pruning, and fertilizing plants
  • Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, and landscapes
  • Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address plant diseases or pests
  • Assist with landscape design and installation projects
  • Provide recommendations for plant selection and placement based on site conditions
  • Ensure proper irrigation and watering of plants
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

  • Knowledge of gardening practices and techniques
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping
  • Ability to identify common plant diseases, pests, and weeds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

Note:
Experience in groundskeeping is a plus.
