Based in B+H's Toronto Office, you'll will report to and work closely with the Global Director of Practice – to oversee the Project Controls aspects of all B+H projects globally.

You will be a fundamental anchor of the Operations Team and collaborate with the Principles and Project Managers and Project Accountants of the firm across our international studios, to enhance delivery efficiency and the bottom line.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for Monthly Project Controls reporting to Senior Management.

Set up, chair and create action plans through regular meetings with Project Principles and PMs to ensure that Project team are adhering to contracts in regard to Schedule, fees, deliverables and scope.

Monitor Project ASN logs and notify PM's when ASN's are overdue.
Draft and or review letters for Principals/Project Managers to send to clients.
Review the Schedule, fee allocation and associated deliverables of contracts.
Monitor project set up in BST, i

e:
workplan forecasting.

Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to ensure project information is accurately reported and assist in resolving problems with various financial issues related to WIP, AP and AR.

Contribute to the strength of B+H capabilities, systems, and procedures through continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will possess:

Undergraduate degree in Business or Architecture, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in the architecture/engineering, or construction industry.
Proven experience and ability in planning, scheduling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Strong knowledge of the "Earned Value Management" principles.
Produce, read, and modify schedules and scheduling curves/reports.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly identify and articulate issues.
Detailed oriented, proven problem solver with sound judgment who accepts ownership and accountability.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of BST is an asset.
