Summary:


The Human Resources Coordinator will work in close conjunction with the General Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.

The HR Coordinator carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas:
departmental development, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, administration, and recruitment.

Job Duties:

  • Perform Orientation for all new hires.
  • Providing general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports.
  • Preparing and administrating documentation for new hires, including criminal record checks, identification tags, and department tours.
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files.
  • Responding to and putting through various queries from managers and employees, and from other agencies or departments.
  • Exercising individual judgment while dealing with potential or real troubles on own initiative and bringing them to manager's attention.
  • Leading investigatory interviews with employees from various departments.
  • Oversee Performance Management processes.
  • Coordinating staff training events or programs and recommending resources as needed.
  • Assisting with the daytoday efficient operation of the HR office and the Casino operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years HR related experience.
  • Previous ADP Software knowledge considered an asset.
  • Postsecondary education in HR related courses considered an asset.

  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced working environment with deadlines
