Your Opportunity:


This position provides specialized administrative support in a leadership role for Rural West Addiction and Mental Health Clinics and designed to support the Director to this portfolio.

Requires an ability to work well in a team environment, understanding of the purpose, goals of the team and the ability to bring forth ideas to assist the team.

Must be able to work independently in a complex, fast paced environment, be able to work under pressure handling multiple tasks, changing priorities and short deadlines.

The Administrative V is responsible for ensuring the effective function of the office, assuming a leadership role to ensure that administrative support, human resource (which shall include timekeeping, administrative training, staff scheduling and RMS Support), site and building operations functions are performed to a consistent standard.

The Administrative Support V ensures that ongoing planning and general development takes place within the clinics. Must demonstrate flexibility, initiative and a high degree of organization. Must demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. The position requires flexibility in hours to accommodate the demand of workload.

Maintains a positive and professional image in dealing with a variety of issues of varying complexities which require diplomacy, tact and confidentiality.

This position would work closely with other Administrative Support staff within CZ AMH as a coordinator of administrative services. An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential to success in this position. Experience in supervising multiple teams is an asset.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Three years of relevant work in an administrative support team position with proven supervisory experience in supporting a director position and zone administrative operations.

A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered. Completion of a business program or equivalent 2 years post-secondary education (college level) in business procedures and office management. 5 years' experience in Addiction and Mental Health.
