We're looking for a Sales Manager - Commercial Accts - Ottawa Hybrid


Reporting to the VP Sales - Digital Security, the Sales Manager - Commercial Accounts will achieve assigned growth objective driving net new customer growth in the Americas region.

The Sales Manager - Commercial Accounts will lead a team of inside sales representatives in their pursuit of net new sales for non-named accounts, selling Entrust's portfolio of Digital Security solutions, including Data Protection, Authentication and PKI & SSL certificate solutions.

Additionally, the team will manage small opportunities for a portion of the portfolio for Named Accounts.

The Sales Manager is responsible for the team's success in developing pipeline and meeting growth revenue objectives within the Americas.

How you will make an impact:

Sales & Business Management of ISR Team 40%- Provide strategic direction to the team for the successful go to market.- Work closely with the Segment Leaders and the technical and marketing teams to develop effective campaigns, product offering, and identify potential product improvements and new solutions.- Coach/mentor sales team to deliver value proposition, working with Marketing to develop effective messaging for Entrust digital security solutions product portfolio.- Maintain thorough knowledge of Entrust's digital security solutions product portfolio, sales, and strategic objectives with an ability to clearly articulate the Entrust value proposition.- Develop, share and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all key competitors- Assume responsibility of North America growth target for your team, and drive sales team to execute against plan.- Establish relationships with key decision makers within targeted distributors, resellers and customers within region- Meet with key clients, assisting the sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals- Manage consistent and effective sales management tools and processes, including forecasting, sales activity reporting, quota assignment and managements, and account planning.

Account Growth Strategy 40%- Under the direction of the VP Sales - Digital Security, drive the development of sales strategies, specific to core vertical markets- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition, and funnel market intelligence back to product marketing


People Leadership and Management 20%- Direct, influence and motivate the Americas ISR team.- Build strong and open cross-functional relationships with superiors, peers and team to coordinate resources to meet customer needs- Hire and develop a highly effective sales team, encompassing all the skills needs for a high velocity sales environment.

And then mentor them to improve each and every day.- Provide effective goal setting, coaching and performance feedback to colleagues- Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team.



Qualifications:


Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business to business sales capacity.- Successful track record of building pipeline in greenfield markets and executing against net new growth plan- Excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers, partner and colleagues- Must be able to lawfully work within Canada and have unrestricted work authorization for Canada- Travel Requirements: Minimum of 10%, some US and Canadian travel is expected.- Sales experience in Hardware, Software, aaS, and Cloud.
