The Agile IT Project Manager is to facilitate the completion of a program, project, event or product release by coordinating the activities of an entire team.

They will be adept to build a team of employees, each with their own core role in accomplishing a project, then develop ways for team members to interact and report progress.


_ Overview:
_

  • Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or iterative project methodology.
  • Facilitate the agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standup, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Coach and mentor the project team on agile values, principles, and practices.
  • Create onapage requirements format, agile business requirement document, identify and document assumptions, user stories, vision and design concepts, wireframes, and outline what is not within the project scope.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and blockers and escalate when necessary.
  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of the project team and ensure alignment with the project vision and goals, and customer expectations.
  • Manage the project budget, schedule, quality, and risks, and report on the project status and performance to the stakeholders and senior management.
  • When necessary, use the traditional project management methodology, define and document project objectives, scope, schedule, deliverables, roles, communication, budget, risk, and responsibilities and create a project charter.
  • Finalizing and delivering the project deliverables and outcomes; obtaining the customer and stakeholder acceptance and feedback; and conducting a project review and lessons learned.

_ Qualifications/Experience:
_

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in agile project management such as PMI-ACP, CSM, or PSM is an asset.
  • A recognized project management certification, such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is an asset.
  • At least 7 years of experience in an agile environment as an Agile IT project management
  • Proven track record of delivering successful IT projects using agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of agile frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with single thread, crossfunctional and distributed teams.
