Reporting to the Manager, Pension and Benefits, this position focuses on supporting and administering various leave of absences and time off plans with an emphasis on disability administration for over 190,000 colleagues across all divisions of LCL.

What you'll do

Colleague Support

  • Provide Tier 2 level support including data corrections and clarification on leave of absences and time off policies
  • Investigate inquiries and provide timely resolutions professionally and confidentially
  • Liaise with external and internal providers for issue resolution
  • Facilitate leave of absence training as needed
  • Offer coaching on leave of absence procedures

Disability Administration

  • Administer weekly indemnity/short term disability
  • Administer long term disability benefits
  • Ensure compliance in daily administrative processing
  • Work with colleagues and HR on payroll/claims payment issues

What you'll need

  • Bilingual in French is a must
  • Minimum 1-year disability administration experience
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources preferred
  • Strong HRIS and Benefits legislation knowledge
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Data entry skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data
  • Previous SAP experience considered an asset
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Flexible, team-oriented individual
