Job Summary
Develop Industrial Excellence initiatives in Fabrication plants across North America, driving the Divisional KPI's, coordinating plants to achieve optimum potential of staff, systems, equipment, machines & site operations.
Principal Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment / Quality
Ensure all solutions drive a Safety-First culture and support Aliaxis Divisional & Global Safety standards deploymentSupport the implementation of the Divisional HS&E strategy, ensure site accountability and report on progress, events and initiativesManufacturing Excellence
Lead the development and execution of the Manufacturing Excellence road map across North America to bring standard solutions for all Fabrication sitesContribute in developing a divisional organization structure to deliver Manufacturing Excellence across the regions ensuring alignment, discipline and financial targets are achievedEstablish performance and result indicators to help manage, route cause and continuously improve production processesContribute and support the businesses to deliver against the manufacturing excellence KPIs and Annual budgetEnsure implementation of North American wide projects and initiatives through ongoing liaison with key stakeholdersLead Manufacturing process improvementsSupport development and implementation of a standard management systemCentralize, standardize and deploy best practices across fabrication sitesPeople
Contribute to the development of Best Place to Work objectiveExecute on manufacturing excellence goals plant wide to achieve performance, financial and staff development objectivesCoach, assist, and develop Manufacturing Excellence leaders to drive operational shop floor excellence and removes barriers for employees to meet measurable objectivesDeploy and participate in Gemba walks and coaching on 5S / standard work / visual management development/modification/adherence, M.D.I., continuous improvement, flow, and problem solving and other lean methods, techniques and processesAttend to individual mindsets to help foster a culture of change leadershipSupport planning, execution and sustainment of Kaizen and Lean manufacturing related events within value stream team(s)Track and report program progress and communicate with plant leadershipQualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related Technical field is requiredLEAN Six Sigma certification is an asset10-15 years of proven successful experience in supporting or leading manufacturing sites or teams, with focus on manufacturing excellence projects and demonstrated process improvement successDemonstrated experience of having lead teams in a performance management environment across different sites in operations or support rolesSolid project management experienceMust have a solid understanding of Engineering, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Financial acumen#LI-JM1
