Job description:

We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our
Life Sciences team in Quebec**. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.


You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as
Building Maintenance Agent The Building Maintenance Agent is responsible to perform various tasks related to building management in order to deliver a stellar experience to all.

This involves coordinating all maintenance work related to architectural, mechanical and electrical items of the building.

The agent works in close collaboration with procurement and suppliers to optimize cost, employee satisfaction and ensure our health and safety regulations are fulfilled.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform, if possible, the maintenance or the repairs of the building including the architectural, electric, plumbing and ventilation components.
  • Perform security periodic inspections related to the building such as ammonia cooling system indicators, building protection systems, safety and mechanical rooms.
  • Perform various tasks related to the administration of the building such as changing lights, executing light plumbing and carpentry work.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work subcontracted by external companies and ensure their compliance with Roche internal policies.
  • Coordinate the preventive maintenance program of the company and promptly correct any deviation detected during these inspections.
  • Support the Safety, Health and Environment Officer (SHE) / Site Safety Officer (SSO) in the coordination of the activities of the emergency team of the building including training of team members, work schedules, effectiveness of communication and regular simulations.
  • Respond to emergencies related to the building and ensure a rapid return to normal business.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma (Quebec) or Highschool Certificate (other provinces).
  • Bilingual (French & English) spoken and written (an asset). Ability of organizing and setting priorities
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, etc. and good understanding of computer systems as it relates to building maintenance.
