The Smart Home Project Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of activities related to residential & commercial installations. The position involves scheduling installs with contractors, customers and ensuring that all required components are prepared for the installation.

This role will work closely with the Project Manager & Sales team to ensure that installations are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.

The job description is not limited to the items listed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & help team with prepared information.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve work flow.
  • Creating/ensuring work orders are with every install. All product documented before leaving.
  • Issuing purchase orders, RMA's, service requests
  • Entering sales orders, inventory & employee time cards
  • Invoicing & accounts receivable
  • Ensure the accuracy of system transactions, eg. order entries, order maintenance and billings
  • Shipment tracking and status reports for all orders

Requirements:

  • Ordering project supplies both standard and project specific
  • Quality tracking and accuracy of tasks
  • Create and maintain schedule based on customers install requirements
  • Monitor inventory of parts to ensure stock availability
  • Receiving and managing customer owned product
  • Monitor and correct release/delivery dates on sales orders to ensure they match the rollout schedule
  • Verify order memos to make sure instructions are accurate with projects.
  • Communicate to PM and sales when project changes

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and followup skills a must
  • Reliable, well organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
  • Must be able to multi task and work independently in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Excellent Computer skills with keyboard competence
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Must be a selfstarter, selfmotivated, articulate, organized, dependable, and prompt

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$20.00-$40.00 per hour
