We are looking for a positive, driven and team-oriented individual to join our Dorval distribution center and support two additional locations in Moncton, NB and Mount Pearl, NF.

_ Your Contributions to the Organization will be_:
- Assist with implementation of the global EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, community, information and brand.
- Partner with operation leaders to develop and execute sitespecific annual EHS plans; standardize EHS programs; ensure critical information is communicated; and implement best practices.
- Leads in the management of operation specific EHS hazard assessments and the development of risk mitigation plans.
- Partners with operation leaders to ensure compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
- Analyzes key EHS metrics to assist operations in the construction and execution of continual improvement plans.
- Assists leaders in identifying budgetary needs to address risk reduction and compliance assurance.
- Ensures key performance metrics, including occupational injury/illness and environmental sustainability results are accurately reported and communicated.
- Develops and maintains facility profiles.
- Leads the response to regulatory agency inquiries and reporting obligations.
- Leads and participates in assessments and audits.
- Provides technical assistance and guidance in riskrelated matters, including ergonomics, industrial hygiene, safety, environmental, incident investigation, business resiliency and occupational health processes.
- Assists management teams in the investigation, notification and case management for occupational injury/illnesses.
- Collaborates with business leaders to coordinate and implement actions and activities to minimize and manage workplace accident claims and to contain and control associated costs. Assist with returntowork plans and assessments.
- Leads the Worker's Compensation claim management process (CNESST)
- Assists operations to close out property/casualty recommendations from third parties such as FM Global.
- Provides support in the development and implementation of business resiliency plans.
- Provides EHS leadership during business continuity situations.
- Educates and coaches management teams on their EHS roles and responsibilities. Helps foster a diverse workforce.
_ This Job might be for you if have:_
- A completed College or Bachelor's degree in related field
- Possess a minimum of 5 years EH&S experience in a fastpaced Distribution or Manufacturing environment
- A substantive knowledge of applicable Provincial EH&S regulations and guidelines
- Experience in managing Workers' Compensation claims to contain and control costs (CNESST, etc.)
- Solid experience with facilitating training/awareness to various stakeholders
- Strong familiarity, understanding and experience in EH&S management systems and their successful implementation
- General investigative skills and experience (i.e. interviewing, fact finding, documentation)
- Professional certification in safety (CSP), an asset
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Must be resourceful, selfdirected and able to work independently.
- Must have sound judgment, excellent analytical and problemsolving skills and not be afraid of "rolling up the sleeves" to develop and deliver practical solutions.
- Must be able to clearly and succinctly communicate, market and sell practical EH&S solutions to all levels of business/regional and facility personnel.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be flexible and creative in developing solutions that deliver results.

- ~5-10% travel requirement
- Bilingual in English and French
