Qualifications

  • Previous Grader Operations is considered an asset.
  • Must be adaptable and versatile and possess good communication skills.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work independently and efficiently.
  • Must possess sound knowledge of, and commitment to, all aspects of a safe work environment, as well as a willingness to take and follow direction.
  • Must provide a driver's abstract. Employees are required to provide their own transportation.
  • CSAapproved steeltoed boots are required for this position.
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum completed high school diploma or equivalent (GED); postsecondary education in a related field considered an asset.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex and technical information.
  • Strong customer relation skills and the ability to interact with the general public on a daily basis.
  • Must be wellorganized, and detailoriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
This position is part of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.

Hours of Work: 44 hours per week.

Term:
This is a seasonal position with employment till approximately September 30, 2023.
