Job Summary
What you'll do
Management of 3PL operations _
(third-party logistics)_
- Create plans and steer performance towards daily and monthly goals.
- Track performance through KPI's & CPU.
- Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the teams; maintain compliance, consistency, and take corrective action when needed.
- Keep track of major's wholesale orders and their respective shipping timelines.
- Supervise warehouses system issues.
Direct oversight over in-house warehouse
- Manage special projects: rebranding, samples.
- Consolidate operations and drive operations to productivity increase.
- Lead, collaborate and execute daily work plan with warehouse teams.
System inventory control
- Maintain a highlevel of inventory accuracy, service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Work with internal Inventory Coordinator to properly manage inventory.
What you'll bring
Experience:
- 35 years' experience managing diverse warehouse teams.
- Experience with Warehouse Management System.
Skills and competencies:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse Associates.
- Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
- Ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an everchanging warehouse environment.
- Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others.
- Ability to implement Lean practices, key metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service capabilities, productivity, and profitability.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
