WHO YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH
The BCI Studio is a creative team skilled in graphic, information, & UX/UI design, photography, and videography.


Responsible for managing BCI's visual brand, we combine our design knowledge with our ability to creatively translate complex processes, concepts, and stories into clear, easy-to-understand infographics, icons, charts, publications, presentations, and videos.

Our aim is to present information in an engaging and succinct manner that informs, inspires, clarifies, and delivers a shared understanding of BCI.

We value collaborative team players who excel at communicating, problem-solving, and their ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO


Reporting to the VP, Corporate Stakeholder Engagement, you will lead the Studio program and manage the production of creative products and digital assets.


You will be responsible for:

setting the strategic direction for BCI's visual and audio branding program and its future growth; overseeing the program resources, budget, staff, and equipment to ensure that the team is optimized for creativity and efficiency; and overseeing incoming work, prioritizing projects, assigning tasks, and monitoring project progress.

You foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.


This position requires strong leadership, team advocacy, collaboration, and a deep understanding of both the creative process and the business landscape.- 5+ years proven experience leading and managing a creative graphic design and videography/photography team - either in the capacity as an in-house team or an independent agency- Degree or diploma in graphic design, visual communication, digital marketing, or related creative discipline- A deep understanding of the creative and video process with the ability to liaise between BCI's teams (Studio's clients) and The Studio to determine the client's needs and ensure the Studio delivers on time and within budget- Excellent resource and project management skills; ability to prioritize incoming work and special projects, manage resources, and deliver on time and within budget- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices (graphic design, infographics, videography, photography, UX/UI design, etc.)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads The Studio Team - People Management- Oversee and mentor a high-functioning team with diverse talents, experiences, and backgrounds to deliver creative solutions; setting clear goals and expectations, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning, and encourage the team's professional and personal development, and career path interests- Oversee the performance management process for the team that involves developing individual and team scorecards, conducting performance evaluations, developing training plans, and formulating career pathing programs


BCI's Visual and Audio Brand Strategy- Sets the creative team's strategy, vision, and direction, aligning it with the BCI's branding and communication objectives, and ensuring that the team's work supports these goals- Oversee the development and ongoing evolution of BCI's visual and audio brand strategy to ensure a consistent approach that builds brand recognition and engagement among BCI's stakeholders.- Oversee the documentation of brand standards and requirements and ensure the alignment of all collateral products with BCI's approved brand standards.

- Oversee the delivery of high-quality UX/UI solutions that align with the organization's core brand and communication strategies


Production and Workflow Management- Oversee the intake of projects, determine the appropriate allocation of resources, allocate responsibilities, and manage project timelines in accordance with scope, budget, and resources- Oversee The Studio-client relationship, determining the in-house clients' needs, clarifying expectations and deliverables, and ensuring The Studio delivers- Identify and introduce tools and technologies that streamline production flows and enable efficiencies within the creative processes- Direct and coordinate outside agencies, such as art services, editing, printers, photographers, etc.
