Hires for co-op controls department positions may have tasks such as:

  • Assisting with:
  • Electrical/Controls systems Designs
  • PLC, HMI programming
  • Developing concepts for various machinery
  • Developing documentation and installation instructions
  • Light assembly of automation cells, and kitting hardware for service installations
  • Service installs & commissioning
  • Maintenance and upkeep of CAD software libraries
  • Various marketing and sales tasks
  • PLC, Servo & HMI programming knowledge
  • Experience with CAD software and an ability to read electrical schematics
  • Communication skills with the ability to work alone or in groups
  • Time management and troubleshooting skills
