Summary:
We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer, Data Engineering to join our Information Security team. The ideal candidate will be crucial in developing and maintaining our data engineering infrastructure to ensure accurate, reliable, and accessible data.
- Design, develop, and maintain data engineering solutions with IBM Datastage 11.
- Work closely with data scientists and stakeholders to meet data requirements.
- Implement data quality checks for accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Monitor systems, resolve issues, and integrate solutions with other systems.
- Stay updated on data engineering trends and technologies.
- Improve processes, provide technical support, and document systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 2+ years of data engineering experience.
- Skills in SQL, Linux, data quality management, warehousing, modeling, visualization, and reporting.
- Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Additional experience with tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, machine learning, agile development, DevOps, and data governance is a plus.
About the Position:
This is a management role on a full-time basis in Canada, with work locations in Ontario and New Brunswick. For hybrid work arrangements, candidates must be based in Canada and report to a Bell office for at least 3 days a week.
