Job OverviewMaintain and update established department procedures. Receive guidance from Supervisor or identify potential improvements. Collaborate with team members to ensure procedures reflect current practices.
- Create or update procedures aligning with operational requirements, policies, safety standards, and efficiency guidelines. Seek necessary approvals.
- Engage in training activities for personal and team development. Develop training materials, conduct sessions, and support training initiatives.
- Contribute to material requisitions and procurement processes. Provide technical support during equipment installation. Suggest spare parts needs for new machinery.
- Generate reports in response to external inquiries or for record-keeping. Propose enhancements based on performance analysis. Communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders.
- Suggest research projects to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Collaborate on research initiatives and share insights to drive improvements.
- Evaluate proposals related to assigned areas. Offer feedback for refinement and recommend proposal decisions to the Supervisor.
- Assist in data collection for budget planning and monitor budget variances for reporting purposes.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, P.Eng certification or in progress (EIT).
5-6 years of Professional Expertise in Electrical, I&C, Controls Engineering (Preferably Nuclear sector).
