About the role


You will enhance Movember's mission across Canada by building relationships with and managing groups of Ambassadors who can leverage their unique networks, skills and lived experience to increase Movember campaign registration, fundraising, brand and impact awareness.

Examples of specific ambassador groups include, but are not limited to, Regional Committee Chairs, Event Hosts, Spokespeople, Survivors, Barbers and new audience acquisition.


You'll have the opportunity to

  • Create and execute Community Ambassador recruitment plans for focused groups
  • Create and execute onboarding and training plans for focused groups
  • Create and leverage resources for focused groups (guides, assets, key messages)
  • Create and execute stewardship and recognition plans to retain Ambassadors
  • Manage calendar of community events & activations with an eye for PR opportunities and Ambassador deployment
  • Manage Barber Shop activation with priority activations that align with audience acquisition and retention strategy
  • Develop efficient and effective program logistics and risk management practices to enable the execution of all programs and initiatives including registration, confirmations, pre and post communications and feedback
  • Develop ambassador activity tracking procedure and ensure records are maintained in Salesforce by entire team
  • Create a process for reviewing effectiveness of ambassador programs and provide an internal annual report with recommendations for budget and business planning
  • Manage operational budget up to C$25,000

For this role, you'll need

  • 3+ years progressive experience in volunteer management
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build and manage constituent relationships
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills and service skills including the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting in front of audiences of various sizes and backgrounds
  • Proven organizational abilities and ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to problem solve and manage projects from creative development through final delivery on time and on budget using appropriate tools, including critical path and detailed status reports
  • Selfstarter/high level of internal motivation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and growth environment

  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and evenings
  • Spoken French an asset
  • ON Driver's License and access to vehicle
