JOB DESCRIPTION

Our League Ambassadors play a vital role in the success of our leagues. They oversee our venues and ensure all league games run smoothly. We are currently seeking responsible, reliable, and outgoing individuals to serve as League Ambassadors for JAM Sports.

JAM Sports Ambassadors are responsible for:

  • Engaging with players during each shift to ensure they have the best experience
  • Establishing relationships with vendors, facilities, and the community to support our brand
  • Arriving early at the venue to meet with staff and set up equipment
  • Managing the venue throughout the night to ensure players enter and exit timely
  • Enforcing league rules and sportsmanship for a safe play environment
  • Assisting with incidents and injuries as needed
  • Cleaning up the facility and packing equipment at the end of the night
  • Submitting shift reports online after each shift
  • Creating engaging content for JAM's social media platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High Energy and positivity, with a unique flair
  • Detail-oriented with a quick learning ability
  • Confident and proactive in interactions with various stakeholders
  • Ability to think creatively and independently
  • Past experience in event planning and strong communication skills
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills

EXPECTED HOURS

  • Our leagues operate Monday to Friday from approximately 5:45 pm to 12:00 am, with some weekend shifts available
  • We need individuals available on multiple evenings after 5:00 pm
  • Shifts are typically 3 to 6 hours long depending on the venue
  • Hours vary based on availability, with preference for consistency

COMPENSATION

  • League Ambassadors start at $16.55 CAD per hour
  • Hourly rate increases based on the number of shifts worked
  • Opportunity to participate in tournaments at no cost for eligible candidates
