Dietary Aide

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents/patients in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and wellbeing of residents/patients
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, notifying supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Assist with meal planning and menu development
- Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients and their families
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with the food industry and different dietary needs (e.g., diabetic, lowsodium, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
