Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Crew Schedulers by assisting with booking crew travel, such as SIM, deadheads, hotels and car rentals;
  • Assist Chief and Assistant Chief Crew Scheduler with expense coding and receipt reconciliation;
  • Administrative responsibilities associated with AIMS;
  • Support OCC management in booking/organizing familiarization flights (FAM flights) for Crew Schedulers, OCC Duty Managers and Flight Dispatchers;
  • Support OCC management with administrative work, new employee onboarding, paperwork filing and record keeping;
  • Support OCC management with gokit updates and general maintenance;
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent related work experience;
  • One (1) year of previous experience;
  • Familiarity with Sabre and AIMS preferred;
  • Must be proficient with Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Must possess superior interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external customers and contacts;
  • High attention to detail and ability to compile and present large data sets;
  • Bilingualism considered an asset;
  • Strong problem solving skills and be adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced, teamoriented environment;
  • Ability to communicate in Inuktut a definite asset;
  • Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
