Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in education or in progress;
- Several years' work experience in early learning and childcare;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Class 5 driver's license;
- Criminal record check;
- Combination of education, training, and experience.
Successful candidates must provide transcripts, driver's license, and criminal record check to Human Resources.
This position falls under the Collective Agreement between Northern Lakes College and the Faculty Association.

Position Description
Instructor, Early Learning and Child Care
Nature and Scope of Work
Reporting to the Chair, Human Services & University Studies, this role involves planning, delivering instruction, and evaluating adult learners in Early Learning and Child Care programs. Teaching in other programs may also be necessary. Coordination with learners, instructors, supervisors, and administration is key for learner success. Travel to various locations is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare for instruction.
- Deliver instruction catering to different learning styles.
- Supervise student practicums.
- Evaluate student learning and provide feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Perform administrative tasks.
- Assist in student recruitment and enrollment.
- Track attendance and submit reports.
- Maintain student confidentiality.
- Assist students in finding employment.
- Liaison with industry partners.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in education or in progress;
- Experience in early learning and childcare;
