Overview:

We are looking for an EVP, Head of Investment Management and Strategy to join our dynamic team in the financial services industry. The EVP, Head of Investment Management and Strategy is a critical member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the firm's investment management, investment / ETF strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves leading a team of investment professionals, collaborating with other departments, and playing a key role in ETF strategy and investor relations (media and publications).

Responsibilities:

  • Investment management
    • Oversee the portfolio management of ETFs, ensuring they meet risk/return objectives and are in compliance with regulatory requirements, mainly NI and NI
    • Review and adjust portfolio allocations based on changing market conditions.
    • Lead the management and oversight of Market Makers
    Investment / ETF Strategy
    • Represent Investment management media interviews and publications
    • Develop and implement the overall investment strategy for the investors, aligning with the company's objectives and market trends.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new investment opportunities and monitor the performance of existing products.
    Product Development
    • Collaborate with the product strategy team to create new ETF products, ensuring they meet market demand and comply with relevant regulations.
    • Provide insights into asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio construction during product development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in investment management, investment /ETF strategy, or a related field, with significant experience in ETFs.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, asset allocation, and investment products.
  • Excellent leadership, team management and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
