Responsibilities:

  • Design and present lesson plans using a variety of teaching techniques that appeal to various learning styles
and methods

  • Plan and conduct lessons of instruction that provides critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Use a variety of assessment practices to determine student understanding of curricular outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
  • Fluency in both official languages French & English written and oral is preferred
  • Must have excellent organizational and classroom management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with students and parents
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with students with special needs

sector search, and child abuse registry check as part of the hiring process.
Salary & benefits for this position will be administered in accordance with the SRSD/SRTA collective bargaining
agreement (CBA).
