We're looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Manufacturing team in the role of
Supervisor, Manufacturing

As a Supervisor, Manufacturing, you will.

  • Oversee Gummy Shift Leads and their direct reports
  • Handle performance management and goal setting for/with team members
  • Delegate tasks and handle issues as they arise with respect to workflows as well as people management
  • Provide mentorship to team members and assist with workloads when necessary
  • Ability to manage a diverse and growing team of individuals
  • Resolve problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety
  • Revise, understand, and follow all SOPs and related forms to GMP standards
  • Coordinate weekly inspections with Gummy staff, document and follow up on deficiencies and provide report to management
  • Communicate and work closely with Supervisors and Managers from other departments to coordinate activities that affect the daily manufacturing schedule
  • Work with Operations and Shipping and Receiving to coordinate storage of materials
  • Follow up with contractors to ensure work is completed and plan necessary cleaning and sanitizing
  • Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies, and incident reporting
  • Communicate with Management team to ensure company goals are met and the team is functioning smoothly

You would be the best fit for this role if you have

  • 5+ years in a supervisory position within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of production procedures
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Demonstrated ability to operate materialhandling equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership skills, extensive experience managing teams
  • Creative problemsolving skills
  • Reliable, passionate, and organized
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Must be on time and remain on site for entire shift
  • Ability to meet deadlines and ensure department goals are achieved
  • Accurately follow instructions, complete forms and paperwork as required
  • Knowledge or basic understanding of GMP standards is considered an asset
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required to support operational requirements
