The Raw Materials (RM) sourcing team at Lululemon is responsible for exploring, sourcing, and managing the complex raw materials vendor base that develops and produces a wide range of raw material with "Best Quality" and "Best Cost" for our "Best Products".

With growing global vendor base, analytics and insights plays a key role in identifying the strategic and tactical priorities.

Reporting to the Category Analytic Manager - RM Sourcing, the RM Category Analytics Lead will be the analytics master mind for RM sourcing.

a day in the life

In this role you will be,

  • Working closely with the RM sourcing managers, sourcing leads, RM supply planning team and other cross functional partners to identify the key data and analytics requirements to help them in effective strategic and tactical business data backed by data and analytics.
  • Working closely with multiple sources of data and will be the 'to go person' to find the right source of data for different analytics requirements
  • Converting a simple day to day conversation into a presentable business story by adding key data, analytics, and insights into it.
  • Managing a recurring cycle of reporting aligned to the key calendar dates and deliverables of RM sourcing team, while providing on demand analytical insights to the team.
  • Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining reports, dashboards and visualize key business metrics and will always work with the category analytics manager to continuously improve what you have created to evolve with ever changing business requirements
  • Partnering with technology teams in finding, enhancing, and managing global sources of data to meet your analytics requirements
  • Adding value to the team by uncovering hidden opportunities and converting them into actionable business cases
qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience as a Data Analyst ideally within the Supply Chain or related industry
  • Experienced with data visualization, particularly in Power BI, MS Excel, and knowledge of best practices in data management, governance, and reporting
  • Strong communication, collaborations skills, commitment to meet key dates and ability to work in a hybrid setting with minimum supervision
  • Proficiency DAX; MS Excel Macros (VBA) and experience creating executivelevel data visualization reports
  • BA/BS degree in Management, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Operations and the Apparel/Footwear industries preferred
  • Certification in Data Analytics from recognized institution would be an added advantage
