What is the opportunity?

As Vice President, Mutual Funds Research, RBC Wealth Management, you will manage a team of analysts to provide research and support on mutual funds to Canada's leading national network of full-service investment advisors.

What will you do?

  • Manage a team of analysts who provide research and support on mutual funds to a national network of full-service investment advisors
  • Set team's annual goals and assign tasks
  • Provide ongoing coaching and periodic performance evaluations
  • Ensure research output and service levels meet standards for quality and timeliness
  • Continuously improve existing products and practices
  • Develop new research products
  • Contribute to the research function by providing analyst coverage of a segment of the mutual fund market
  • Participate in investment committees that oversee model portfolios that include mutual funds

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • CFA designation
  • Management experience, including coaching and mentoring employees
  • 5 years or more of investment manager research experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly service oriented

Nice to Have
