Responsibilities:

  • Displays the willingness to learn and understand Daily production targets.
  • Completes daily Equipment Inspections and communicates any preventive maintenance and repairs to his supervisor.
  • Completes daily servicing of equipment he or she operates.
  • Demonstrates good house keeping of the equipment he or she operates
  • Completion and submission on a timely basis of all documentation as required. This includes, equipment inspection reports, time tickets, fuel, and credit card receipts
  • Abide by all Secure and customer specific safety procedures
  • Ensure all Secure safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Responsible for knowing and following the Standard Operating Procedures and mastering critical tasks.
  • Maintaining and implementing safe work procedures.
  • Communicates effectively with Supervisor and Project Manager
  • Positive Attitude, welligness to help, and is team player
  • Must be able to work varied shift start and finish times, working away from home is a requirement

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Heavy equipment operational experience is a must (Loader, Dozer, Compactor, Excavator).
  • Willing and able to work away from home for periods of time on different projects
  • Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with respect to the maintenance, servicing and repair of transport vehicles
  • Be fit for work every day
  • Ability to communicate effectively and express thoughts and ideas in a clear manner
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work long days
