Chen Chen's Hot Chicken is a chef-driven fast casual restaurant that specializes in Nashville Hot Chicken and scratch made Southern comfort food.

We focus on quality and affordability and make everything fresh and in house. We strive to create a fun, respectful and professional work environment. One year minimum cooking experience required. We are looking for reliable chefs that are willing to learn and have an awesome attitude.

Fryer experience is required.

We are looking for you, if you are a person who has:

  • Experience working in a high volume and fast paced kitchen setting (bonus if you have fryer experience).
  • Ability to learn and work quickly as part of a team.
  • An understanding to be punctual, reliable and the importance of consistency (quality control) in the final product.
  • High attention to detail and works well under pressure
  • Experience working the deep fryer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work well in a team setting but can also complete tasks independently and efficiently.
  • Great customer service skills
  • Strong prep skills and the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Execute all items to the highest standard following recipes and procedures.
  • Maintain high level of food safety practices.
  • Work clean and efficiently.
  • Must be available evenings and weekends.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing proper safety and sanitation
  • Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

$18.00-$20.00 per hour
