The position we're offering involves spearheading the identification, cultivation, execution, and outcomes of strategic alliances in the Non-Acute healthcare sector across Canada. The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering industry expertise, structured methodologies, and achieving revenue targets in line with the company's aims. You will be responsible for surpassing financial objectives, evaluating processes, providing suggestions, and effecting changes to ensure ongoing expansion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Seek out strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Identify and finalize key national accounts such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaw's, Rexall, LifeLabs, Dynacare, Canadian Blood Services, etc.
  • Consistently exceed planned sales objectives
  • Expertly handle contract discussions, leveraging market insights to secure new business while maintaining acceptable profit margins
  • Utilize experience with HPSA, GPOs, and governmental bodies to promote the Daniel's brand and value proposition
  • Develop and present strategic account plans aligning with Daniels' goals and strategies
  • Maintain an accurate and comprehensive customer portfolio, ensuring adherence to pricing, service, and profit expectations
  • Use industry knowledge to identify sales growth opportunities and enhance services
  • Analyze sales data and trends to formulate effective market strategies
  • Provide mentorship on pricing techniques, organizational setup, and team management
  • Stay informed about market trends and propose new products, services, and sales tactics
  • Engage in trade events and conferences
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for opportunity tracking, revenue predictions, and account maintenance
  • Proactively understand and proficiently complete all sales procedures, linking them to operational objectives
  • Generate management reports as needed to ensure clear communication with leadership

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 4 years overseeing a sales team, preferably in a National Account setting; proven success with a positive team environment
  • 4 years of successful sales experience as an individual contributor
  • Track record in creating and executing effective sales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Proficiency in identifying and engaging key stakeholders at the National Account level
  • Solid experience in national account sales, market share growth, and customer engagement within the National Accounts sector
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Ability to collaborate across various departments both internally and externally
  • Strong organizational and process management capabilities
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies to support business objectives
  • Highly desirable skills in Excel and Salesforce
