Strategic Account Manager**
Location: Field based

Job description:

To achieve and exceed sales performance objectives via improved patient outcome.

This role will focus on the development of a high performing, customer centric approach to implementing dry eye treatments and clinics in targeted practices.

This includes Co-creating with key stakeholders to build partnerships & collaborations.

Developing and coordinating project plans across the design, development and implementation stages of a project to support the successful delivery within a set KPI's.

Working in collaboration with brand teams & all associated stakeholders to maximize value. Provide consultancy, advice and assistance on strategy for implementation of dry eye best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive increased demand for Sunpharma Dry Eye Products in assigned geography in cooperation with assigned key physicians and/or Clinics. This includes the development of regional business plans in collaboration with marketing and the Ophthalmic Director to allocate time and resources to help drive dry eye patient awareness and treatment.
  • Develops and executes an annual business plan, with input from Ophthalmic sales team in the assigned geography
  • Attains or exceeds sales objectives as outlined in the annual regional business plan
  • Prepares and executes market development plans for identified clinics in major urban markets as well as targeted high potential accounts
  • Prepares and leads the execution of practice development plans for assigned physician accounts
  • Used secondary and primary market research data to assess market potential and appropriate strategies
  • Provides Innovative tools for inoffice an external marketing efforts for assigned physician accounts
  • Provides practice development services to help assigned accounts prepare for successful adoption of implementing a dry eye clinic and Sunpharma dry eye technologies. These include customer service audits, personnel audits, operational and scheduling reviews, Strategic planning assessments and internal/external marketing communications
  • Completion of practice audits/assessments to diagnose customer's capabilities to successfully deliver SunPharma treatments
  • Analysis of audit/assessment results to prepare gap analysis and corrective action plans
  • Appropriate referral to credentialed external consultants and KOL's for advice and corrective actions, where appropriate
  • Point person for implementation of corrective action plans, including managing and directing external consultants when required and practicebased personnel.
  • Leads and delivers projects for Regional and local teams teams, ensuring adherence totimelines and quality objectives.
  • Ensures delivery of efficient and highquality deliverables. Provides effective and timelyresponses to adhoc requests.
  • Investigates, analyzes and recommends new Dry eye opportunities with both experience accounts as well as high potential accounts. Assist in expanding the VIP relationship between SunPharma and targeted accounts in such areas as mentors, experts at industry events and advisory board panel opportunities
  • Planning & management, Gather requirements to develop detailed Project plans and Project estimations to task level. Proactively assist the Business to identify upcoming conflicts
- and resource gaps.

  • Serve as interface with the Regional and local territory teams on Project Planning and delivery Management.
  • Ensures delivery of efficient and highquality deliverables. Provides effective and timely reponses to adhoc requests.
  • Manages an efficient and highquality team that promotes synergy and best practice sharing among resources, drives collaboration with Country Organizations in managing high standards of communication and delivering best in class services.
  • Provide guidance on training requirements in relation to Commercial processes
  • Takes initiative to drive standardization of reports across the role
