Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Channel Director to oversee and cultivate strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate should possess a strong track record in nurturing alliances within the tech industry and have a good understanding of the utility sector. As the Channel Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping joint deal strategies, identifying contract opportunities, and driving growth through effective partner engagement. Working closely with the sales team, you will be instrumental in executing joint go-to-market strategies and enhancing overall performance metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a comprehensive channel partner program involving strategic platforms, system integrators, and VARs to support various alliance scenarios.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners to drive mutual success.
  • Manage an opportunity pipeline in sync with SpryPoint's GTM selling organization.
  • Collaborate with partners to influence joint deal strategies and ensure successful execution.
  • Provide guidance on partner-specific marketing materials, messaging, and activities to position a top-tier solution offering.
  • Identify and implement a strategic roadmap of contract vehicles aligned with partner capabilities and goals.
  • Lead the recruitment and empowerment of service partners to enrich the ecosystem.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to define positioning and outbound strategies aligned with partner initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Professional Services teams to ensure alignment of methodologies, enhancing overall partner performance.
  • Develop a compelling value proposition to boost partner engagement and customer value.
  • Actively participate in partner events, industry conferences, and key company gatherings to strengthen relationships.
  • Attend strategic partner events, conferences, and sales kickoffs to represent the brand and nurture partnerships.
  • Manage partnerships with technology, service, and GTM partners along with driving joint success with System Integrators.
  • Enhance partner-related pipeline growth through effective engagement and collaboration, contributing to revenue expansion.
  • Forge and execute strategic alliances with partners to broaden the company's market presence.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in channel management, alliance building, or partner relationship management within the tech sector.
  • Solid grasp of enterprise software and solutions, especially in ERP, metering/infrastructure, and system integration domains.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving growth objectives.
