Our Research Strategy focuses on Clinical Excellence, leveraging Technology for Care Optimization, and fostering Community Connection. We are currently seeking a Full Time Human Resources Specialist to join our Total Rewards team.

As a developing HR professional, you will act as the link between the hospital, our employees, and our benefits and pension provider.

With a keen eye for detail, you will oversee the employee life cycle and address inquiries regarding benefits, pensions, compensation, and total rewards for unionized, non-union, and management staff.

We will nurture your professional growth by involving you in various Total Rewards initiatives and projects, such as Long Service Awards and HRIS enhancements.

  • Accurately manage employee life cycle following hospital policies and legislative guidelines with great attention to detail
  • Provide advice on benefits, pensions, and different leave types
  • Review and adjust employee salary based on experience
  • Support HRIS data maintenance and system audits
  • Participate in projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in Human Resources
  • Minimum two years of HR experience in a unionized setting
  • Experience in pension and benefits administration
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and CRA guidelines
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation
