Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning, masking, attaching fixtures and demasking
  • Booth and equipment maintenance
  • Part loading/unloading
  • Participation in crossfunctional training in related processes as required
  • Provide support to ongoing implementation of lean principles, along with workplace organization and TPM
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings for masking requirements
  • Follow written instructions such as Work Orders, Work Instructions as well as verbal instructions
  • Follow paint department functions with regard to surface preparation, sanding, masking, and plugging
  • Must follow job hazard analysis, safety rules, and responsibilities defined by OHSA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in exterior construction materials, which includes painting in a manufacturing setting.

  • Familiarity with various assembly techniques, including glass install, power drill, Quality inspection, and hand eye coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret various documents, diagrams, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively as assigned.
  • Flexibility to work the Day Shift with availability for some overtime, as required by customer demands.
